Alzheimer’s Association to offer new support group

A new caregiver support group sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association will meet the second Tuesday of each month, starting on July 13, 2010.

The meetings will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at St. Mark AME Church, 1616 West Atkinson Avenue in Milwaukee.

This support group is open to family members or caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.

The group will provide an open forum for caregivers or family members to voice their concerns and questions about Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
