The 13th annual E.B. Garner Fishing Clinic and Outing will be held June 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Washngton Park on the west side of the park’s lagoon.
The fishing clinic is offered to children throughout the city. They will learn the art of fishing from baiting a hook, casting the rod and reeling the fish in. Some fishing equipment will be available courtey of the state DNR’s Rod and Reel Program and Mr. White’s A&C Live Bait Shop.
Participants can bring their own equipment: Rods, reels, hooks, stringer, tackel boxes, lines and any other fishing equipment needed. No fishing license is required. For more information, call E.B. Garner at 414-342-3929.
