Students display their skills for the community in local home show
Bradley Tech students collaborated with Innovative Exteriors LLC, to create a garden scene for the NARI Home Show’s Landscape Development Outdoor Living Area. Bradley Tech students in the Engineering and Construction Academy’s designed and built a set of benches, a table, and a pair of trellises for the exhibit. All of the pieces feature wrought iron work and cedar wood. The Bradley Tech Team placed first among the schools competing for their workmanship and design.
Bradley Tech offers four academic programs or academies that require students to gain hands-on skills while working towards their degree. “The Home Show was a great way for students to showcase their talents,” said Dennis Queen, Regional Executive for MPS Metro Region Schools. Bradley Tech is one of nine schools in the Metro Region.
