“Take me out to the ball game! Take me out to the crowd! Buy me some peanuts and cracker Jacks…” No, I-Witness wasn’t at the ball game.
But I was close.
Tanya Whitaker celebrated her birthday with friends and family at Milwaukee Brewer star leftfielder Ryan Braun’s restaurant in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.
I-Witness was joined by Shirley White and Essie Thomas. We dined in the private dining room. Our server was Danielle.
Tanya had it laid out for us including piped music. We had several choices off the menu. I-Witness chose the fried shrimp, which was very good.
The crab stuffed shrimp were ok. Shirley ordered that. What was really good was the real pineapple vodka on the rocks. It was so good.
Everyone had a great time, chatting and eating. Craig had us in much laughter.
Many friends and family came out to celebrate Tanya’s birthday: Her mom, Patricia Whitaker; Phil and Mae Crown; Her aunts, Lue Crown and Alberta Whitaker; Vera Inconnory, Earline Manilery, her brother Craig and Erica Berry, Cynthia Smith, Catina Cotton, Christina Cooley, Kevin Harms, Joyce Hunter, Doris Nance, Sheila Pounds, Patrice Justus, Daniel Buggs, Tameka Covor, Sara Garner Jr., Ken and Feasha Terry and Neicy Coleman, and Yvonne Ali.
Tanya also had friends from Chicago and some of her co-workers at T.J. Maxx who joined her in her birthday celebration.
We all had a great time. Happy Birthday Tanya! Wishing you a thousand more.
