Event: Brewers Community Foundation and ŒKoos for Kids¹ will present new
coats for all students at two Milwaukee Public Schools elementary schools:
Gwen T. Jackson Early Childhood and Elementary School and Siefert School.

(There will be a brief program including representatives from the Brewers
Community Foundation; Marcus Hanel, Brewers¹ bullpen catcher and founder of
Koos For Kids Foundation; Jill Hanel, Koos for Kids; and Milwaukee Public
Schools) and 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012

(Coats will be delivered to classrooms on the first floor of Siefert)
Please join us as more than 650 students at Gwen T. Jackson and Siefert
schools receive warm winter coats, just in time for winter, thanks to
Brewers Community Foundation and Koos for Kids.
Milwaukee Public Schools is Wisconsin¹s largest school district, serving
nearly 80,000 students in more than 160 schools across the city. U.S. News
and World Report named MPS¹ Rufus King International School and Ronald
Wilson Reagan College Preparatory High School the two best high schools in
the state and among the 200 best in the country in 2012. In the past year,
Milwaukee Public Schools posted a growing graduation rate 17 points higher
than the rate for 2000.
