Greetings my name is Zahria R.Collins and I am honored to be selected to participate in this year’s Debutante Promenade. For 35 years annually the Christian Business and Professional Alliance has sponsored the Debutante Promenade. This cultural event is the culmination of weeks of workshops, cultural experiences, professional development and fellowship. The promenade has been heralded by local media as one of the highlights of the Thanksgiving season.
The event will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Hilton Milwaukee Hotel. I am very excited, as this event will not only be memorable, but along with the enriching experience comes the opportunity to be awarded financial scholarships for college.
I have been a member of Greater New Birth Church under the leadership of Bishop R.J and Lady Patricia Burt. I am an active participant in the youth department. I am a senior at Young Cogg’s Prepatory High School with a cumulative Gpa of 3.0. I am actively involved in Key Stone & Future Success at UWM, Matriarch dance team,Yearbook committee, and Sign of Dove youth ministries.
I am petitioning the support of family members, civil and religious organizations, and business establishments. You can support by purchasing a tax-deductible advertisement or purchasing tickets to attend the event. Funds received will be used to provide educational scholarships for the reigning Debutante and her court in addition to supporting other activities sponsored by the Christian Business and Professional Alliance. Advertisements in the souvenir program book are at the following rates:
Full Page with Picture $175.00
Full Page $140.00

I look forward to your continued prayers and support as I embark on this memorable and momentous event.
Be our guest at the 25th Annual Christmas Family Feast at the Wisconsin Center District, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue from 11:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. A tradition in Milwaukee for 25 years, Christmas Family Feast is free and open to the entire community.
“We’re preparing to feed 8,000 to 10,000 people on Christmas Day. This wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of this year’s sponsors. The Christmas Family Feast is the largest feeding program hosted by The Salvation Army in the country on Christmas Day,” said Major Dan Jennings, Salvation Army Divisional Commander for Wisconsin & Upper Michigan.
This year’s meal will consist of ham, turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, dinner rolls, an assortment of desserts and beverages.
Guests will receive complimentary gifts while supplies last.
