Rock music legend Mick Jagger, a contemporary of Brown’s, will be a producer on the project and is releasing the film under his Jagger Films banner.
“We’re going to have to test lots of actors and be determined to pick the right one,” jagger’s co-producer Brian Grazer said in an interview earlier this year with Rolling Stone.
Audiences will have to wait and see if they found the right man to fill the “I Feel Good” singer’s shoes.
