Sykes will use her already well-known skills for political satire (she was the first ever black female to MC the White House Correspondent’s Dinner) on the show, which features a roundtable format and bipartisan experts who talk about all the issues that are significant in this election from gay marriage to the economy to immigration.
“I’m excited to be working with Logo, the network that offers a voice to the LGBT community,” Sykes said in a statement. “These specials will be thought-provoking, exciting and the perfect forum to discuss important issues facing our community. Plus, it is Logo so maybe I’ll get to dress in drag!”
