Hitting the Links for a Good Cause

Golfers spent a day doing what they love, all in support of a good cause, the Social Development Commission. They participated in the 3rd Annual Jeff Cirillo Charity Golf Classic.

This was the third year that former Milwaukee Brewer Jeff Cirillo teamed up with the Social Development Foundation to stage a charity golf tournament. This year, the event was held on the fairways of Geneva National near Lake Geneva. Golfers enjoyed a great day of golf before retiring for dinner as well live and silent auctions.

Susan Kim of Today’s TMJ 4 participated again in the charity tournament and served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the event’s dinner. Among items auctioned off were a large number of sports-related memorabilia including an autographed Brandon Jennings jersey, a Jermichael Finley autographed helmet and Robin Yount items.

Funds raised by the auctions and other activities at Jeff Cirillo’s golf outing will be used by the Social Development Foundation to support the programs of the Social Development Commission.
