Hundreds of fathers and daughters will gather together in a celebration of their special relationship. The 10th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance will be held this Saturday, February 16th at the North Division High School campus at 1011 W. Center Street.
The evening will begin at 5 pm with dinner for pre-registered participants and run until 8 pm. The night will feature dancing, prizes, photographer’s booths, and a live DJ. The Daddy Daughter Dance is organized by the Milwaukee Recreation Department in partnership with the Social Development Commission and Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative.
The goal of the annual event is to allow young ladies to build a stronger relationship with their fathers. It also lets men to engage more fully in the lives of their daughters. More than 300 fathers and daughters pre-registered and many more are expected to sign up at the door on the night of the dance.
