On Thursday, June 14, PEARLS for Teen Girls, Inc. (PEARLS) will celebrate the first-ever PEARLS Day to recognize the successful leadership development program for young girls in Milwaukee.
*Share a PEARL of Wisdom*
The community is invited to participate in the one-day “PEARL of Wisdom” social media campaign on June 14.
PEARLS is asking individuals to tweet their PEARL of Wisdom, using the hash tag #PEARLofWisdom. PEARLS will be compiling the advice and anecdotes into a virtual scrapbook, to be shared with the community and the PEARLS’ high school graduates.
*Shop the Third Ward*
The community is invited to celebrate PEARLS Day by Shopping the Third Ward in support of PEARLS from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on N. Broadway St. in the Third Ward. At select shops, a portion of all sales will go directly to PEARLS to benefit the organization.
