Local author, Chandra West has just had her second book, Vanilla Dream published. In her latest fiction novel, Ms. West tells a story of relationships and the drama of the love triangle. The book, targeted to females, from young to old, doormat to gold-digger, black to white, is guaranteed to entertain, meanwhile give solace in that everyone falls in love and lots of people men or women fall in love with the wrong one…at least a couple times in life. Vanilla Dream was released by La Femme Fatale Publishing and is expected to be released October 15th, 2012.

The book was written not only to entertain but to open people up to interracial relationships, yes even in a day when there is an African American President; also, to give women in abusive relationships encouragement that they can get out. In a time where sex sells and erotic fiction is a booming business, this story is sure to make a few people blush, turn a few people on and have the rest asking Ms. West when her next book is coming out.

Chandra began writing at a very early age, took a Journalism class during her tenure at Nicolet High School and her first Creative Writing course while she attended UW-Milwaukee.  Since that time, she continued to write numerous short stories.  But Living Ghetto Fabulous published in 2006 was the first story turned to novel.

Book Release party will be November 1st, 2012 at 4:30 pm downtown at Cathedral Square Whiskey Bar, 788 N. Jackson Street in Milwaukee.  The book is currently available for purchase on Kindle at www.amazon.com.
