In celebration of National Law Day, the Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA) will be providing FREE legal information clinics Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 1:0 0 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Each location’s “legal team” will be made up of members of the MBA as well as other volunteer lawyers from the Milwaukee area.
The attorneys will be available to answer general legal questions, provide insight into the practice of law, and answer general questions on the judicial branch of our local, state and federal government.
For situations requiring further assistance, the attorneys will be giving out appropriate resource referrals.
“The legal clinics are part of the National Law Day Education Program which is in its 56th year. Law Day is designed to help alleviate the confusion, anxiety, and fear that can result when individuals participate in the legal process,” says Britt Wegner, Director of the MBA’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service.
“Law Day is one of many free services that the Milwaukee Bar Association provides to the greater Milwaukee community.” For more information on the 56th Annual Law Day please contact the Milwaukee Bar Association at 414-276-5931 or [email protected]
Established in 1858, the Milwaukee Bar Association is the fifth oldest bar association in the country.
