Milwaukee Health Services Inc. is pleased to host its Fifth Annual Women’s Health Fair courtesy of the American Cancer Society®, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan and Wisconsin Well Woman Program on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Together, Milwaukee Health Services Inc. (MHSI), American Cancer Society®, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan and Wisconsin Well Woman Program will host a Women’s Health Fair on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Martin Luther King, Jr. Heritage Health Center located at 2555 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
It’s no secret that many women don’t have time for their health care. MHSI hopes to change this trend and help women Refresh the Spirit, Calm the Mind and Heal the Body.
“The primary objective of the Women’s Health Fair is to increase awareness of various health topics and empower women to take action through the utilization of preventative screenings for health and wellness,” says Pamela Clark, Corporate Communications Specialist for Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. Women will have access to a range of services that would include clinical breast exams or mammograms. A luncheon with guest speakers and vocalist Mr. Jackie Caldwell will educate and entertain. There will be door prizes and incentives for the women who attend.
