“Bottoms Up: Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries” explores the architecture and social history of Wisconsin’s taverns and breweries. The one-hour WPT documentary is based on the book “Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries,” written by architectural historian, James Draeger and historian Mark Speltz. Celebrate Wisconsin history–but watch responsibly.

Participating in the discussion after the preview will be the authors of the book, James Draeger and Mark Speltz; Jim Haertel, owner of Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery; and Leonard Jurgensen, a Milwaukee brewery historian.

Join in the discussion that follows.
