North Milwaukee State Bank (NMSBank) seeks to increase its value in new markets and inside of its own corporate walls. Hiring new talent and promoting its own appears to be the formula for success.
As NMSBank plans its growth, it places emphasis on strong internal controls and oversight and has further positioned itself to expand into new markets and increase its talent pool.
One key promotion for NMSBank is that of Patricia Matthews. Matthews has been promoted to be the bank’s Chief Administrative-Officer.
A banking veteran, having worked in the field for 15 years, Matthews will oversee Human Resources, Marketing, Board Relations and a new area of Corporate –
Matthews will also be an active member of the Board Loan Committee. She currently serves as NMSBank’s Vice President.
Taking a critical step to position itself for prudent growth, the Board of NMSBank elected Cris Flowers as Internal Auditor / Compliance Officer.
Flowers also currently serves as NMSBank’s Security Advisor ( BSA ).
As a key staff member, he has previously served as Loan Department Manager, Member of the Compliance Committee, and as Internal Auditor for NMSBank.
Making a strategic hire in the commercial lending area, Gulbaz Gill has joined NMSBank as a new Commercial Lender & Officer.
Gill comes to the bank with substantial experience in the Wisconsin market, most recently with a major Midwest bank.
With an advanced degree in computer science and lending volumes over $10 million per year, Gill will find an important role with NMSBank.
