Rev. Karen B. Bailey: “Families seldom meet anymore. Our homes may be scattered throughout the country or even throughout the world. So this is the reason to celebrate.”
Tommie White: “Family get together for a big meal, and most important to eat some of momma’s special cooking. It also shows the young ones in the family that if nothing else, this is a special time of the year.”
