The most powerful thing that will help us through negativity is positive thought that is properly used. It is extremely hard to overcome anything until our thoughts become creative and positive. Circumstances and conditions that come our way do not determine who we are or what we become as much as the thoughts that dominate our mind.
When our thoughts seem to be unclear, or even negative in purpose or direction we will need help in regaining creative and positive thoughts. We cannot do these things through our own efforts alone. If we do not seek to have the power and love of God in our everyday life we will not truly succeed in anything.
It is important for our fulfilment of life that we lift our minds and thoughts to a much higher level, far above what we are capable of without Him in our lives.
With God’s help we will attain a clearer form of thinking, deeper understanding, renewed strength and a more positive approach to our individual situations. When your thoughts are in confusion, so are your directions and you cannot see your way up or out of it on your own. Confusion leads us to worry, and God reminds us to not spend time on such things but to engage Him in your thoughts
Matthew 6: verses 25-27 NIV; “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you eat or drink; or about your body, what you wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
Matthew 6: verse 34 NIV; “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
When things come in to your life that give you uncertainty, confusion and worry, do not forget that if these things have lasted more than a day the sun has still returned following darkness. Hold tightly to your faith in Him, for He will never forsake you.
God also provides us with other opportunities to relieve ourselves from worry and confusion. He gives us positive people to surround ourselves with. These people can be family members or friends. Look at the people that are in your life circle. Try and associate yourselves with people that will be a positive influence in your own life. When you have people that are negative in your life circle, make that circle a little smaller. You can avoid situations that negatively affect both your mental and physical well-being.
Most conversations or interactions that you have with the people you allow in your circle carries with it an evaluation of who you are in relation to yourself and who they are in relation to you. If the conversation or interaction is either primarily negative or positive then the size of your circle might possibly be adjusted as an exclusion or inclusion. Remember what ever conclusion you come to, recall Matthew 7: verses 1-2 NIV “Do not judge, or you to will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you”.
When situations come into your life that seem unbearable, whether they are medical related, personally hurting from so-called friends or family, or maybe disappointments that are work related, do not give up or feel that you are all alone in your struggles. Do not get depressed, do not get overly stressed.
Whatever you think your problems are; go to your source (GOD).
Prayer can lift your spirits, prayer can clear your thoughts, and take your fears away. Have your faith in God guide you through these times. Keep remembering the sun will rise again in your life. Believe in what you already know.
GOD WILL MAKE A WAY SOMEHOW!
