(Left photo) Roundy’s recently held a community fair at its Pick ‘n Save store located at 1100 E. Garfield (Humboldt and North) in Milwaukee. During the event the grocery chain donated a total of $126,000 to eight location organizations through the Roundy’s Foundation. Seven of the eight organizations provided information about what they do and their location. Among the eight organizations to garner a donation was the Salvation Army-Milwaukee County, which received $5,000. On hand to present and receive the SA donation are (left to right): Vivian King, Roundy’s Director of Public Affairs; Connie Jones, Roundy’s Foundation administrators; Major Dale Hunt of the Salvation Army, Steve Guttuso, manager of the Garfield location; and Faithe Colas, Communication Director for the Salvation Army.
