‘Putting for Pints’ blood drive to provide blood for patients in need
Whether you’re an ace on the golf course or a first-time golfer, the American Red Cross encourages all eligible donors to give blood at the first-ever Putting for Pints Blood Drive in Menomonee Falls.
If you love to golf, but greens fees aren’t part of your summertime budget, the Red Cross has a solution that will let you tee off and help patients in need. All presenting donors at the Putting for Pints Blood Drive will receive a free round of golf to an area course.
“This is a great opportunity for both beginner and avid golfers to give back to the community while getting a free round of golf,” said Greg Novinska, CEO of the American Red Cross Badger-Hawkeye Blood Services Region. “Whether you’re a dedicated blood donor or you’ve never donated before, come on out to help save a life.”
The Red Cross would like to extend a special thank you to participating golf courses, including: Broadlands Golf Club, Brookfield Hills Golf Course, Deer Haven Golf Course, Ironwood Golf Course, Moor Downs Golf Course, Morning Star Golfers Club, Muskego Lakes Country Club, Naga-Waukee Golf Course, Paganica Golf Course, Rainbow Springs Golf Course, Silver Spring Golf and Banquet Center, Songbird Hills Golf Club, Valley Green Golf Course and Wanaki Golf Course.
