Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something. When I think about my life and everything I have overcome, I immediately think about faith. No matter how challenging my life was I have always believed it would get better or I would get through it. I am optimistic about life and all it has to offer because I have overcome the impossible many times.
The hard part is you must believe things will work out when things currently are not going well. There is a song that I like, and, in the lyrics, it says “you have to see it, before you see it”, In other words, can you see yourself living debt free? If you said yes, now it will happen. Now write down what debt freedom looks like to you and do the work to make it happen.
What happened to you in your past is over, so let us process what a new beginning looks like. A lot of us have experienced childhood traumas or broken relationships, do not focus on whose fault it was, or how you got into the situation in the first place, but think about the steps necessary to change things. This is where faith comes in. In my faith nothing is impossible with God and my past is just that, my past. If you were in an unhealthy relationship and you are now free, do not focus on what happened to you, write a new vision for your life replace those negative thoughts with positive ones by forgiving, seeking help, reading material on creating a new life, and practice self-care.
In closing, everything starts with a thought, I want you to think about some of the things you went through and then think about what you want now. Then write down some of the things you want to experience in life and believe you can have it. You decide what you want and if you believe it can happen, it will happen. Stay focused, stay in your lane, and keep the faith!
