Happy Happy Monday! Yes! We are starting this week off on a high note. We are waking in great spirits and ready to tackle the day.
It’s time to organize the week if you haven’t already. It’s time right down all the tasks you need to handle, all the places you need to go, and everything you need to make time for. The year is beginning to wrap itself up. So, you know what that means.
It’s time for an honesty check. It’s time for personal evaluations. It’s time for accountability and focus. When you look at you vision board, are pleased with your results? Did you tackle the majority of the tasks you set out for yourself?
Which ones did you accomplish and which ones didn’t you? Which tasks are still obtainable? What has stopped you from achieving your goals.
Be honest. Was it procrastination, poor time management, or lack of preparation? Was it that you weren’t in a position to make it happen or the lack of resources? What was it?
Did you truly have intentions of making it happen or did you really put it on your vision board because it looked and sounded good? Be honest.
Now, although you have to take a complete look at the things that haven’t gotten done yet, you still have to pat yourself on the back for all the things you have accomplished.
You did something right. Write those things out and put a check next to them or circle them so that you know you completed the task.
Patting yourself on the back is essential. You can’t beat yourself up, every time you miss the mark. Sometimes you have to tell yourself to keep going. It’s not always about what you didn’t achieve or accomplish. Many times it’s more about what you did knock out.
Knocking out tasks puts you right where you need to be. So that’s always the goal.
So, when you take a peak at what you didn’t get done quite yet, remember, everything that you did get done. Those tasks tell you that you’re headed in the right direction.
Keep it going.
