Los Angeles, CA (BlackNews.com) — Renowned special event producer William P. Miller is featured on the Season Two premiere episode of the hit Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) docu-series, Raising Whitley, which debuts Saturday, January 4th at 9 pm ET/PT. In the episode, Miller works closely with client, actress/comedienne Kym Whitley, to produce an over-the-top masquerade-themed birthday party. The extravagant affair turned out to be
a truly unforgettable evening, all captured by the show’s cameras.
The star-studded red carpet event was hosted by actress Yvette Nicole Brown and the music was spun by hip-hop pioneer MC Lyte, who kept guests
on the dance floor throughout the entire celebration. Attendees included many of Kym’s celebrity friends, such as Bobby Brown, Brandy Norwood,
Niecy Nash, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Anna Maria Horsford, Vanessa Williams, Kelly Price, Dawnn Lewis, Kiki Shepard, Dorian Wilson, Shondrella Avery, and Sheree Fletcher, among others.
“William created a festive atmosphere that my guests enjoyed. He took the vision for my party to an entirely different level and I’m so
appreciative,” said guest of honor, Kym Whitley.
Raising Whitley is a humorous, poignant docu-series following Kym Whitley and her riotous collective of friends – whom she calls “The Village” – as
they attempt to do something none of them have ever done before: raise a baby together – her adopted son, Joshua.
