Free Art Activities for Children in K5 through Grade 5

Kids and families can create unique art projects at the Milwaukee Public Library, all for FREE! Join the Artists Working in Education, Inc. (AWE) staff at MPL and exercise those creative muscles. While these activities are free, space is limited. Please pre-register online for one day, or more! If space allows, walk-ins are welcome.

Wednesdays, April 6, 13, 20, & 27 – 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Washington Park Library, 2121 N. Sherman Blvd.

Family Play Date

Families with children ages 5 and younger are invited to a fun-filled, hands-on interactive hour of stories and play activities. Parents and children learn how easy it is to develop literacy skills through play. Most importantly, spend some time having fun together! Children must be accompanied by an adult!

Grocery Store! – Welcome to our pretend grocery store. Make a grocery list, help customers, run the cash register, and go shopping.

Saturday, April 9 – 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Mill Road Library, 6431 N. 76th St.
