On May 14, The Black Child Development Institute of Milwaukee presents “Entering the College Zone” at the UW-Milwaukee Student Union from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration required. This event is to prepare 6th-8th grade students and their parents for the path to success.

African American Role Models needed for Roundtable Luncheon: The luncheon is a very special component.

Role models represent professions such as business, religion, journalism, law, health care, accounting, education, aviation, hospitality, and communications.

In small roundtable gatherings compromising 10 parents and students, role models can share their personal stories of how they achieved their college and career aspirations and overcame barriers to success.
