The public war of words was ignited when Rihanna appeared on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” recently on the OWN network. The 24-year-old told the talk show maven that she not only still loved Brown but that she was sympathetic to his being held up to a public lashing, after he beat her up in February 2009.
Even though Rihanna conveyed the fact that she felt “angry, hurt, and betrayed” after the incident, the young pop star also stated that she will probably always love Brown and that he is the love of her life, which allegedly set Rivers off.
The veteran comedian blasted Rihanna for her apparent weak stance on what Brown did to her, tweeting:
Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her.
Rihanna, who is not one to hold her tongue, hit Rivers with:
wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?
Rihanna later deleted this message and instead slammed Rivers with:
“Slap on some diapers.”
Rivers later let the pop singer have it with:
“Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
Will the Bajan cutie ever grace the stage of hot show “Fashion Police” that Rivers hosts? Probably, when H-E-L-L freezes over!
Reportedly Debbie wishes Katherine Jackson would consult with her before making any changes to the agreement made before MJ died.
It has already been determined that the guardianship of the children will temporarily be given to TJ Jackson, the pop king’s nephew.
According to the Daily News:
“Debbie would like Katherine to consult her before making any changes to the agreement they worked out together after Michael died,” the source said. “This would set up a whole different dynamic. She needs to see more details.”
Rowe raced back to southern California from a horse show last weekend when she heard family members reported Katherine missing, the source said.
While most have thought the 51 year old has had no involvment with the kids at all the site reports:
Though she handed Michael full custody of son Prince Michael, now 15, and daughter Paris, now 14, when they divorced in 1999, and didn’t intervene after his death, Rowe has seen the kids on more than one occasion in the last three years, the source said.
The source continues:
“As long as Katherine is still actively involved (with the kids), there shouldn’t be a problem. But they never agreed to let TJ be a decision maker. (Rowe) knows TJ from when he was little. She knows he’s close to the kids. But she might ask for more custodial responsibility if he’s making decisions she doesn’t agree with,”
And the saga continues.
Hopefully all parties can reach a mutual agreement on the matter soon!
R&B hitmaker Ne-Yo is speaking out on rumors regarding his sexuality.
In an interview with Yesi Ortiz of Power 106 earlier this week, the Compound crooner spoke his piece on Frank Ocean’s recent revelation and also addressed long-standing rumors that he himself prefers the peen.
“To each his own, if that’s how he rock, that’s how he rock, you know what I mean. It don’t change the fact that his music is incredible. It don’t change the fact that he’s an incredible artist. He chose to put his personal life out there, and that’s him. I don’t fault people for who they are, if that’s really who you are, you know what I mean. If that’s really who you are then by all means do what you do. I’m not gonna judge you behind that. That’s not my place.
Ne-Yo had this to say in response to the rumors regarding his own pro-panty preference:
Call me ugly or something, let’s think of something else. This whole gay thing has been lingering for a little too long. Say I’m adopted, I’ll take the ninja turtle comments, I’ll take that. Let’s do something else.

He may be married to one of the baddest chicks in the game but that doesn’t stop Jay Z from openly admiring other women. Mommy banger, Nia Long has revealed that Beyoncé’s hubby recently described her as every man’s “fantasy girlfriend”, hinting that he had a soft spot for her.
“I saw him at a party and I complimented him on his long run in music,” Long told Essence magazine.
“But he turned it around and asked me: ‘How does it feel to be every boy from the hood’s fantasy girlfriend for 20 years?’ It made me laugh, I hadn’t really thought about it.”
Nia Long has been the fantasy of men since her early days in such hood classics as Friday, Love Jones and The Best Man. Jay apparently made the suggestive comment in good humor, so Nia’s baller baby daddy Ime Udoka should have nothing to worry about. Right?

T.I. has been toying with the option of retiring completely from the rap game and going full on Hollywood, and it seems like Tip is closer than ever to that decision. In a recent interview with Radio One Miami, T.I. took a moment to give props to new artists Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar, but spent a good portion of the interview saying that he can’t relate to popular Hip-Hop music today. Check out what he said below:
“No disrespect to any of the new talent that’s coming out, ‘cus there are a lot of guys that I tip my hat to and I salute their success like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Big Sean. There are a lot of cats out there that are grinding and doing it the right way, but there are a lot of things going on out there that quite honestly are a contradiction to what I’ve always stood for and represent. I just feel like in some ways the game is going in a direction that I can’t follow, and I always told myself when that day comes I won’t become the old man talking about ‘Hip-Hop in the old days’, I’ll just find me something else to do.
“The authenticity has diminished in the game, now it’s about what sounds good. And nobody is doing any fact checks, you know? And nobody is getting called on their bullsh*t either. I feel like the level of integrity that I have been able to maintain throughout my career, 11-12 years, I’m going to continue to maintain that same level of respect, that same level of integrity and I’m not going to compromise that for anybody. And if the day comes where the things that I represent ain’t really marketable, ain’t really fashionable to the consumer of the day, then I’m going to break.”

Chris Rock is under fire for a tweet he sent out in celebration of 4th of July, which he dubbed a holiday for “white people.” Rock posted the (historically accurate) message for his more than 850,000 followers Wednesday (July 4). “Happy white peoples independence day [sic] the slaves weren’t free but I’m sure they enjoyed fireworks,” he wrote.
The post drew laughs from the likes of actor Don Cheadle, but others were not amused. “@chrisrock Slavery existed for 2000yrs before America. We eradicated it in 100yrs. We now have a black POTUS. #GoF—Yourself,” responded Jeff Schreiber, managing editor of the blog, America’s Right. Sensing that he may have overstepped his boundaries, Schreiber explained his tweet. “I’m not saying we’re blameless for that horrid practice, but for @chrisrock to indict the US as he did is inappropriate at best,” he added, before deleting the comment.
The comedian never responded to the critics, likely because he doesn’t have to. For one, it’s his opinion, and for another his sentiments were shared by the late Frederick Douglass, who penned a letter to President Franklin Pierce on Independence Day in 1852. “With little experience and with less learning, I have been able to throw my thoughts hastily and imperfectly together; and trusting to your patient and generous indulgence, I will proceed to lay them before you,” Douglass wrote. “This, for the purpose of this celebration, is the 4th of July. It is the birthday of your National Independence, and of your political freedom.
He went on to explain how Black people mark the holiday. “What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer: a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelly to which he is the constant victim. To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciations of tyrants, brass fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade, and solemnity, are, to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy—a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages. There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices, more shocking and bloody, than are the people of these United States, at this very hour.”
So there you have it, perhaps people should understand the history behind Rock’s tweet before jumping to conclusions.

Usher is said to be very hurt over the tragic accident involving his stepson, Kyle Glover, over the weekend. The singer has yet to release a statement regarding his 11-year-old being struck by a Jet Ski, but a source revealed that the incident has taken its toll. “He grew close to Kyle and, of course, that has nothing to do with the situation with Tameka,” said the source. “He loved Kyle. This is a terrible, awful tragedy. Usher is torn up.”
Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a friend of the family has been identified as the driver of the watercraft that hit the boy in the head, leaving him in critical condition. Although doctors have declared him brain dead, he is being kept alive by machines. His mother, Tameka Raymond, stated “He’s bad,” when asked of his status, and (allegedly) posted a statement on Facebook asking for the public’s prayers.
Glover was one of two people hurt in the accident. The second victim, a 15-year-old girl whose identity has not been revealed, was found face down in the water. Both were airlifted to a local hospital, and while an investigation into the matter has been opened, no charges have been filed.
