Alderman José G. Pérez and Alderman Bob Donovan will host a joint news conference at 1:30 p.m. TODAY (Wednesday, February 15, 2017) to discuss the City of Milwaukee lawsuit seeking the closure and sale of 12 near south side rental properties that have been linked to extensive criminal activities, including drug sales and prostitution. All of the properties owned by defendant Kenneth D. Churchill III of West Allis that are targeted in the lawsuit are located in the aldermanic districts represented by Aldermen Perez (12th) and Donovan (8th), and the news conference will be held in front of one of those properties.
Other participants in the news conference will include Assistant City Attorney Heather Hecimovich Hough, and representatives from Milwaukee Police Department District Two and the Department of Neighborhood Services.
