Here in America, it seems like it’s so easy to find people doing what they love to do. Yet and still, it’s even easier to find those who hate what they do. I mean, how often do you hear people being ready for the weekend as soon as Monday arrives? Say it with me, “All The Time.”
Many people dread going to work. They hate getting up, wishing they could stay in their beds all day. But that doesn’t have to be you. You actually have the ability to find your passion. In fact, finding your passion could literally change your life for the better.
A lot of times we see people on social media living their best life. We see people taking trips. Buying houses. Elevating. We see people that appear to be quite happy with life itself. But because of that some people feel others are “lucky” to live the lifestyle that they do. When it’s actually a simple matter of building the life that you want.
The reason so many people get angry with the success of others or jealous is because they don’t see themselves in the place they see others. Sometimes a person’s thinking keeps them in a box. They can’t believe great things are really happening for other if great things aren’t happening for them.
While this is a terrible place to be. I doesn’t have to be the place you stay. Finding your passion is all about you. It’s about discovery. It’s about self awareness and attention. You can’t expect your life to get better if your not aware of what makes you better. You have to know where you are and where you want to go.
Finding your passion can be a huge tool to your success. But how do you find your passion? Well, again it all starts with you. You have to sit down with yourself and evaluate. You have to try new things. You have to look at your past and find the things that make you happy.
Your passion is usually directly tied to your purpose. Begin to think of the things that you do that put a smile on your face. If one of your passions is helping people, well, don’t take a job pushing carts just because someone will pay you to do it. If your passion is healthcare, don’t take a job as a receptionist just because they will pay you.
Find your true passion and invest in yourself. You may find yourself tapping into your passion and wanting to go back to school. Do it. You may find yourself changing careers. Do it! Whatever brings you joy is much more valuable than money.
Passion is the new money.
