Park’s 105 Anniversary Party with KT and the Universal Love Band this Saturday
Come celebrate the Milwaukee County Parks 105-year Anniversary with a free day of family activities at McKinley Park on the lakefront from 11 am till 4 pm this Saturday.
Get Fit. Get Active. Get Healthy is the theme for this year’s party.

In addition to the kick-off party this weekend, Parks has booked some incredible talent in 19 parks throughout the county.
All of the concerts are free and attendees are invited to pack up the family and picnic as they listen to the music.
Some of this year’s highlights are, but not limited to; Concerts in the Gardens at Boerner Botanical, sponsored by Wimmer Communities, The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra will start the series on June 14 followed by Daryl Struermer, formerly of Genesis and the Phil Collins Band, and in addition, Sam Llanas, singer and songwriter of the BoDeans, will perform on August 16.
Washington Park will have a play for the season opener: The Two Gentlemen of Verona, a Shakespearian play put on by the Riotous Shakespeare Troupe on June 27.
Other top name talent at Washington Park includes RAS Movement with American Idol finalist Naima Adedapo, WAMI Award Winner Tweed Funk, and our hometown musician, Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound.
