It’s safe to say this year has thrown us for a loop. What we had planned for the most part is STILL being prolonged. Event after event has been cancelled. Yes, some businesses and events have found a way to safely proceed however the real deal is what we all want.
Life has seemed to adjust itself in so many ways. It’s still awkward riding down the street seeing everyone with face masks. It’s crazy that we have to carry hand sanitizer everywhere and clean every cart we touch. While we do these things for preventative measures, it’s still weird that this is now the norm.
Working from home is still a thing 5 months later. Businesses are to operate at less than 50% capacity. Overall the vibe is quite interesting.
Staying home is the safest thing to do, though it’s not the most ideal. Nonetheless, making your home life a vibe is the best move to make at this time. For instance since the pandemic, there’s been an increase in DIY projects. Many people are at home trying new things and you can too.
When you are home, what’s your vibe? Do you slouch on the couch, watching your favorite show everyday? Do you stay in the kitchen—cooking your favorite meals? Have you made your house a home.
The vibe in your home sets the tone of your day. Whether your house is dark and empty or full of living energy it puts you in the mood for the day. Statistics say nearly 70 percent of people are happy when they renovate their homes.
Do you have furniture and household materials that have overstayed their welcome? Well now would be a good time to get rid or renew those items. Again, setting the tone of your home can make a tremendous difference in your day.
So if you find yourself sad and depressed when you wake up, find a way to liven things up. Buy some inspirational or spiritual pieces. Paint a wall or a room a new color. Hang some new pictures. Get your mind out of the old way of thinking.
It’s been proven that plants being great energy into a home—giving people a better quality of air causing more clear thoughts. Something about plants symbolize life. Hanging murals tend to create a vibe within itself. Find something new and try it in a new space.
Add a splash of color somewhere. Have fun with it and enjoy the view it creates. Find a space and dedicate it for quiet time and read some books. This makes the space peaceful and purposeful.
Whatever you do have fun with it. Right now, we have nothing but time. So putting that time to good use is a great idea. Make it personal. Make it for you. Make it your happy place.
