WHAT: Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair with Special activities for Pregnant Participants, Fathers, Infants and Children

Participants who register will receive a free day of pampering, stress reducing activities, and gifts, belly/self portrait painting, foot and hand spa massages, facials, photography, raffle drawings, food, mobile book clinic, Milwaukee Fire Department’s Mobile Survive Alive House, Music Art, and much more!
There will also be a free and open to the public, interactive resource fair that will take place, which includes fatherhood wellness, nutrition and meal prep ideas, doula movement for labor comfort demos, and more.

About It Takes a Village: Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair
Birthworkers United, Incorporated, in partnership with Familia Dental, will be hosting the 3nd annual “It Takes a Village: Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair! With Wisconsin leading the nation in black infant mortality rates, this event was created to raise awareness about healthy birth outcomes, the importance of doula services, healthy nutrition, and ways to reduce stress. This year’s theme will be, “New Leaves, Stronger Roots”, highlighting our desire to grow and persevere through all that we have been through these last couple of years.
