When’s that last time you felt motivated on a Monday? Has COVID taken every bit of joy your had? Have the times we’re living in put you in an uncomfortable space. Yes?
I can imagine. However, we will not let things go on like this. Yes, we are uncomfortable overall. Yes, it’s hard to press through the mess and still be motivated. But guess what? We’re doing it.
Since we have no control over the things that have been controlling us, we have to exercise our will to control how we react and respond to the times. With this being said, we should make the best of our time.
We should find ways to enjoy the people around us. We should do some things we normally don’t do; Take a walk. Plan a picnic. Maybe start a new morning ritual. Start a daily meditation. Eat well.
Try a safe paint and sip date night Feed the birds. Go for a hike or a bike ride. Rent a room for no reason but to treat yourself. Relax by the lake or a park.
The gift of life itself is a blessing. There’s nothing greater than being able to wake up at a time like this. So cherish it. Handle your life delicately but have some fun.
