Isn’t it crazy how powerful the mind is? I mean the mind is an incredible asset to have. Whether we find ourselves in a space of mental clutter or we find ourselves living our best life, it all starts with the mind.
Our mental is major. It determines the flow of our lives. Think about it. What we do with our mind reflects in how we live our life. For instance, if I choose to workout everyday, most likely I’m going to live a healthy lifestyle. If I choose to play basketball every day, I’m eventually going to get better.
To that same point, if I choose to eat junk everyday, I’m going to find myself in an unhealthy state eventually. If I choose to go to a casino and gamble everyday, I’m going to find myself in a place I don’t want to be.
What you do with your mind is what you do with your life. Whether you make good choices or bad choices, everything you do has a consequence. Either you’re going to be the person you want to be or you’re going to make excuses.
Of course it’s not that easy, but it gets better once you decide to make the right choices. Nobody’s perfect. It’s rather your intentions that mean the most. Perfect is something we could never be—not in this life. However, to be better is far more important.
What you feed your mind you become. Therefore, if I feed my mind with positive things, I can began to identify with more positive happenings. If I feed my mind knowledge, with the heart to gain wisdom, I’ll have that.
What comes in must come out. So when you find yourself drowning in negative thoughts and habits, it may have something to do with what you’re feeding it.
The battle of the mind is a true fight. It’s literally the fight for your life. It’s the reason you are where you are and your headed where you’re headed. So be intentional. Be intentional about what you listen to. Be intentional about what you watch. Be intentional about what you read; for it truly shapes the real you.
