Change.
Change is a word that within itself carries immense power. For many, change is through action. Actions carry effective results. And for one local entrepreneur, change for him was through clothing. So, in honor of Black History Month, this week’s fashion focus is catered to Cream City Print Lounge. A place to go for all merchandise promoting Black Empowerment, Activism and Protestation.
When Rachaad Howard came up with the idea for the Cream City Print Lounge that currently resides in West Allis WI, he wanted to be able to promote and emphasize the importance of justice for Black culture. With the losses of many including Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, among others, Rachaad envisioned a clothing shop that would help highlight the names of those we lost through the clothing created and worn through his shop.
His motto is to when shopping with him, be as creative as utterly possible because there is truly no limit to what can be created. You can print shirts and hoodies alike, the cooler the logo the better. The coolest thing about this place is that not only can shirts be printed and order, but those that seek to do so can also be take printing classes of their own so that they can truly be equipped to creating their own cool merchandise.
Add to that the wonderful sip and print workshops that takes place through this wonderful establishment and you have a truly amazing place to shop. Whether online through their website www.creamcityprintlounge.com or through shopping inside of the actual store location every day with the exception of Sundays and Mondays.
I must say that it is truly great to see such a powerful and one of a kind shopping center right in our backyard, one that I recommend the entire state go to check out as soon as possible.
