Milwaukee, WI, April, 2017: Join the men from Walnut Way’s Men’s Wellness Project (MWP) as they show a rare glimpse into their grassroots efforts in the feature length documentary film, Tha Bridge, Thursday, April 27 at 5:30pm at 3041 North Club. Up and coming Director Carvell Brooks takes a candid view of the men’s peer groups and attempts to humanize the struggles and triumphs of real men from central city Milwaukee. Tha Bridge is Executive Produced by Walnut Way’s own Terron Edwards. The film features music from local artists including men connected to the MWP. After the film, join us for a panel discussion with the director and men from the film.

The Walnut Way Men’s Wellness Project is a peer run group of men from Lindsay Heights and nearby Milwaukee neighborhoods working together to strengthen the network of African American fathers and men. The groups are a fellowship of men that share time and meals together, attend regular group outings, and participate in leadership opportunities.
