Simone Jones Tyner –HelloBeautifulg
If there is one thing I’ve learned after 14 years of marriage, it’s that it takes a lot of effort to make a relationship work. Effort to learn (and accept) each other’s communication style. Effort to support each other through good times and bad. Effort not to let each other’s annoying habits drive you nuts. Effort to spend time together without the kids. Sometimes it even takes effort to have sex.
I know putting the words “effort” and “sex” in the same sentence is definitely not sexy, but let’s be real. After a day of playing the role of housekeeper, chef, chauffeur, and businesswoman, sometimes I’m just too exhausted to play the vixen in the bedroom too. And sex can quietly fall to the bottom of the to-do list.
But what if? What if I put sex at the top of the list? What would happen in my relationship if I regularly planned a steamy night of passion like I plan what we’re having for dinner? Would sex be more exciting? Could it make us even happier? Well I’m about to find out … and so are you.
I’ve decided to heat things up in a MAJOR way by initiating the Summer Sex Challenge for the month of July. In addition to having as much sex as possible, I’m doing a series on my blog, Her Life Inspired, where I have enlisted several experts to help me peel back the layers of relationships to discuss topics like building intimacy, how to turn your sex routine upside down, and the secret to the best orgasm ever.
But great sex should be spontaneous, right? Wrong. Think back to the beginning when you were dating. You knew how you wanted the night to end and you were ready for it. You shaved, you waxed, you wore your sexy undies and that dress that makes your girls look amazing. You might not have realized it, but all of that preparation had you feeling yourself, which put you in the mood for…SEX!
And I have to say, ever since I came up with this idea, my husband and I are having so much fun coming up with new things we want to try. We are flirting more and have already started to reap the benefits in the bedroom.
Check out my blog to find out how you can take the Summer Sex Challenge with me in July. By August, you will have developed a deeper bond with bae, an arsenal of new mind-blowing tricks, and a list of ideas to keep things hot in the bedroom well past summer!
