Journal-Making • December 21 and 22, 12-2 p.m.
Recommended for children age 4 and older.
Join us for our facilitated workshop in our Be A Maker space to learn all about journal making and paper printing. Learn how to design, sew and inscribe your own journal. Then, design your own paper through unique printing techniques. Participants will be provided all the materials and and tools needed to create a project from start to finish. This workshop is a great opportunity for homemade holiday gifts!
Members: $8 per kit / Non-members: $10 per kit*
*Museum admission is not included in workshop fee.

New Year’s Eve at Noon

Celebrate 2019 early! Guests can make a party hat, create something festive in the Be A Maker space and be wide awake when they count down to the Museum’s annual New Year’s Eve at Noon ball drop. Learn more.
Teen Winter Workshop at Brinn Labs
Teens (12+) are invited to the Museum’s makerspace in Bay View for a special Winter Break workshop:
Hand-Built Pottery • December 27: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Recommended for participants age 12 and older.
Check out our special class for teens featuring introductory and advanced pottery techniques. Materials will be provided (be prepared for it to be a little messy) to create a cup or a bowl to take home! An adult is required to attend with participants under the age of 18.
