In a year where less favorable news has become common, uplifting each other has never been more important. Heal Girl Heal just completed its second annual event on Saturday, exceeding its success from the first one. The events creator Sunne Perry-Bailey, CAPSW CSAC, provided a well structured event, that focuses on the healing of woman in all aspects. All attendees worse mask and kept all social distancing guidelines.
“I really believe in her vision of wholeness,” says Attendee Deanna Murphy, a minister from Kingdom Fellowship Ministries. The afternoon started with a live makeup demonstration from Strawberry Cake Minks, getting straight to self care for the lovely ladies. Guest were also given insight into the journeys of other woman’s paths to finding their identity, as well as self care tips during a group panel. The room located at the Hillside Family Terrace, was lined in elegance, and table where the woman were able to do some retail therapy as well. I talked to Kelly Tolliver the owner of Soulful Seamoss, who was one of the vendors. “ We provide herbs for healing To our community, with a focus on natural ways to cure illness,” says Tolliver who can be found on social media for products like , Elderberry good for boasting your immune system. A display of love and support I enjoyed my time, I recommend attending future events, as I can see this being around for many years to come.
