Twilight Centers open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through December 30
Milwaukee Recreation Twilight Centers, safe places for middle and high school students to spend time with friends, are observing updated hours. These hours will be in effect until December 30.
The following high school locations (ages 12 – 18) will be open weekday evenings (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) from 6 – 9 p.m.:
Madison HS (8135 W. Florist Ave.)
North Division HS (1011 W. Center St.)
Obama SCTE (5075 N. Sherman Blvd.)
Pulaski HS (2500 W. Oklahoma Ave.)
South Division HS (1515 W. Lapham Blvd.)
Washington HS (2525 N. Sherman Blvd.)
Andrew Douglas (3620 N. 18th St.), a middle school Twilight Center location (ages 10 – 15), will also be open weekday evenings (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) from 5 – 8 p.m.
Twilight Centers offer a variety of safe and fun activities for teens including basketball and other sports, board games and crafts, college and career support, and much more. The sites also feature new E-Sports programs at Madison, South Division, and Andrew Douglas.
All Twilight Centers will operate at a limited capacity and participants must wear masks, available for free on site. Before visiting a Twilight Center, young people are encouraged to watch this video to understand the safety protocols in place.
