With the warmer months approaching I wanted to give you a great way to celebrate the holidays. I love a good Barbeque and some of my favorites are the food, laughter and Mocktails. Mocktails are drinks without alcohol. I love to make Mocktails at parties, because it always sparks an interest among the guests.
Mocktails are a copy of original drinks, but you can be creative with the ingredients and no measuring is required, another one of my favorites. As long as you get the color and look of the original it’s ok. I’m going to show you how I do them, but by all means swap out my ingredients and choose your own.
The most important part is the color and taste so go bold and sweet! One ingredient I left out of my drinks in the video is Simple Syrup. This is a mix of equal parts granulated sugar and water. You can make it by boiling the water and mixing the sugar, simmer for 5-10 min, let it cool and store in a glass jar or container. You can also purchase it already made. This will help you add more sweetness if adding ice.
I made my mocktails in the glass, but you can make them in a pitcher for a larger crowd and remember NO MEASUREMENTS are required. Here are a few of my favorite Mocktail recipes and hope you enjoy good clean fun at your next gathering by making one of my Mocktails!
