On Friday, June 2 authors Richard and Leah Rothstein will host an event at the Milwaukee Public Library’s Centennial Hall to release their new book: Just Action: How to Challenge Segregation Enacted under the Color of the Law.
Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II said the event will feature the book release and a live conversation about the Rothsteins’ new book, which addresses different strategies for local communities to seek redress for segregation and to improve opportunities and resources in underserved areas.
“Addressing underserved and segregated communities is vital to the pursuit of social justice,” Alderman Stamper said. “I encourage my constituents to join this important conversation.”
This event will be hosted by the Redress Movement in partnership with the Milwaukee Public Library. Copies of Just Action will be available for purchase at the event.
