A forum for young voters and the civically engaged to gather, collaborate and speak on the importance of voting in honor of the life & legacy of Congressman John Lewis
WASHINGTON-On Friday, July 24 at 6 p.m. (EST) the national volunteer advocacy group Black Women for Biden will host a virtual forum to affirm the following: You are powerful and so is your vote!
“We wanted to create an inter-generational movement, in which veterans in the fight for voters’ rights can lock arms with Millennials and Generation Z to ‘get into good trouble’ as the late great John Lewis once stated. We want young people to know the importance of their vote,” said cofounders of Black Women for Biden Dr. Stephanie E. Myers and the Honorable Daun S. Hester in a joint statement.

· Tria Stallings, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Regional Field Director
· Danyell Smith & Patricia Duncan, Black Women for Biden National Co-Chairs
· Dr. E. Faye Williams, Esq., Black Women for Biden Senior Advisor and “WAKE UP & STAY WOKE” WPFW radio host
· Melanie Campbell, Sisters Lead Sisters Vote Chairperson
· Art Auré, Singer and Composer
· Ruquan Brown, 17-year-old founder of anti-violence program, Love1. Received acceptance letters from 25 universities. Attending Harvard University on full scholarship in the fall.
