Wow!
That is the word that comes to mind as we think of all that has come into play of our regular everyday lives this year. The current state of the world is still a complete shock. The action of adjusting is still taking place as we don’t know what is to come daily.
If 2020 hasn’t shown us anything, it has clearly shown us just how fast our entire lives can change. It’s taught us to take better care. It’s taught us to pay more attention. It’s taught us to love on our love ones; for there could be a time at any moment where the privilege to love could be taken away.
According to a recent chart on Google, we officially are 30.2million plus cases in globally with just under 1million deaths. The United States has surpassed 6.7million cases with 200k plus deaths. While these numbers are right out horrific, we are still hopeful for a moving economy.
It’s clear that many organizations and places of business are trying their hardest to stay afloat but is safety truly coming 1st. We’ve heard about the many schools and places of business closing temporarily for quarantine purposes, as people are still being effected by the virus.
School has been in for a few weeks and with virtual courses right from home and everyone in the house is adjusting to that. It seems some kids love and others don’t. Some parents are okay with it while others are struggling.
The presidential election is in shambles. It seems to bring anxiety to many as they choose their voting options. There’s many decisions that need to take place to push for change.
The black lives matter movement is still taking place as we fight for a better America for people of color. Injustices are still occurring. Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Jacob Blake, and so many others still deserve justice.
All around the board there is a lot to take on as the year passes us by.
However, the year of tragic events WILL NOT STEAL OUR JOY! This year calls for a ponder of the beautiful things that are still happening in life. So many families have been brought together. Having time at home gives you comfort to reflect.
This year is still open for change. You can still prosper this year. You can still make you happy. You can change your life. You can take better care of yourself and your family better. You can find new ways to bring a smile to your life.
Knowing how chaotic this year has been should bring you peace to know that many things are not in your hands and yet you prosper. Look at you today and be proud of the man or woman you’ve become. Be proud of the parent you’ve become, the friend you’ve become, the business owner you’ve become; the team player you’ve become. If you’re not proud, MAKE YOURSELF PROUD.
I speak that this is your year! This is your victory in disguise. This is your time for change. This is your year to become better.
You got this no matter what it looks like.
