On Thursday, August 24, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm, Dr. Boyce, author of 10 Commandments of Black Economic Power, will be hosting a fireside chat with Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II to discuss his book and the guidelines of economic Black power.

Alderman Stamper said the FREE Hip-Hop Week MKE event will feature a discussion with Dr. Boyce about his book and the concepts in it, as well as a question-and-answer session with the community. There will be a book signing and meet-and-greet afterward for anyone interested.
“Dr. Boyce’s work is inspirational and especially helpful for any members of the Black community looking to expand their economic literacy and power,” Alderman Stamper said. “I encourage all interested residents to join this important conversation.”
This event is being hosted in conjunction with the celebrations for the 2023 Hip-Hop Week MKE.
