Introverts tend to be very quiet and are often seen as shy people but that’s not necessarily the case. There are some introverts who are not afraid to speak but rather stay quiet. Sometimes I question which category I am in but I can never see myself on either side. When I was younger I never really talked much until the third grade when I started feeling comfortable talking to people but have always enjoyed people’s company rather than being alone.
I also notice that I love attention from my friends and family because I enjoy talking to them. I notice in school I am very introverted unless I am with people or friends I feel comfortable around. At school I notice I have a better connection with the teachers but not the students as much which is something I have always asked myself. I also noticed that in school most of the people I have talked to are really just associates or people who are very friendly to talk to but don’t know them as close friends. Most people who are introverts enjoy their time and space alone, are more self aware, and can spend hours without human interaction and sometimes too much human interaction can drain them while introverts gain power from talking with people and having human interaction.
For me I go crazy without human interaction which is why I like having people to talk to. As much as I am on my phone when I am around people who I enjoy talking to, I can talk for hours. People now mostly only text, which is boring to me when I’m talking to friends because I rather hear the person talking rather than getting a text every few minutes. Now calling friends on the phone is awkward to me because it’s something I rarely get unless it’s an emergency or a call from a family member. Sometimes I am just nervous talking to that person because I haven’t talked to them in a long time.
Well, whoever reads this I hope you enjoyed it, stay safe and most of all stay positive as always.
