Happy first Monday in December! We are almost there. This is the home stretch. Look where you came from. Remember those goals you set and achieved. You did that! Pat yourself on the back!
It’s not easy going for success. It’s not easy accomplishing tasks over and over and over, but you did it. You went into this year with a plan and you lived it out. Whatever you said you were going to do you did.
Yeah, you might have had a few mishaps. You may have made some mistakes. But you did what you did. You might be tired and wore out but listen, you’re almost there.
I did some research and found a few tips on staying focused and organized this week.
Plan your day the night before.
This week, don’t overwhelm yourself. Don’t put things off til the day of. Plan you let week out and every night plan out the day ahead. This technique reduces stress levels and gives you the mindset you need going into a productive day.
Schedule for interruptions.
Be realistic in your planning. Schedule yourself breaks and plan to be interrupted. It will feel better knowing a few things may pop up, rather than being upset when they do.
Start your day with accomplishing something big.
Begin your day with your biggest task, that way when you complete it you will not only feel accomplished, you’ll feel relieved. The bigger the task, the better the prize.
Accept the fact that you’re not going to be able to do it all in one day.
If you do not tell yourself that there will be things that won’t get done, you’re fooling yourself. No matter how well you plan things out sometimes things of the unexpected hit you out of nowhere. Know, understand, and accept this ahead of time to keep your mind and energy afloat.
These tips are small but very meaningful. Try these suggestions this week and find what a wonderful week that is ahead.
