You ever been in a place where you want change but it seems like nothing is working? Like, maybe you want to lose weight but you keep failing. Maybe you want to save money, but you keep failing. Maybe you want to launch a business but you keep procrastinating. While all of these issues are things many people deal with from time to time, they still can be a struggle.
Sometimes the goals we set seem so unrealistic. But truthfully, most times it’s not unrealistic, it’s just approach that you take that makes you feel overwhelmed. For instance, if you want to loose 50-100lbs, begin to take baby steps with baby goals. Your first goal could be to loose just 5lbs. If you want to get in the gym 6 days a week, maybe you can start off with just 2-3 days a week.
Maybe you’re depressed because it seems like you can never save the money you want to. While bills still have to be paid, maybe you should try a new approach. Maybe you should begin to pay yourself first. If you find yourself a few dollars short, find a quick way to make some extra cash like DoorDash or Uber services.
Let’s say you want to start a business but you’ve been putting it on the back burner, start today by creating an email, social media pages, and writing out what kind of business you’re starting and why people need it.
In other words, take a smaller approach to your big tasks that you have in mind. Learn to shift your perspective of your goals. Make them smaller and obtainable.
Don’t stop. Don’t give up. You got this!
