Happy Monday! It’s time to tackle those weekly tasks yet once again; the ones you love, as well as the ones you kinda—-don’t. No matter the task, it’s time to get it done.
Discipline is a word that oftentimes comes off as a bad thing. When we think of discipline, a lot of times we think of getting in trouble at home or even at school. While we can definitely correlate the two, the discipline that really matters is self discipline. But sometimes that’s a hard thing to develop.
Nonetheless here’s a few strategies to get a little better with your self discipline.
- Set small goals first.
Making goals that are attainable help build your confidence. Learning to accomplish them begins to feel really good. It makes you want to do it again!
2. Practice prioritizing.
Knowing what needs to get done is important. Certain things can weight. Learning the difference makes you a master of priority.
3. Get friends to hold you accountable.
Making others aware of your tasks and goals in essence gives you an accountability partner. Friends don’t let friends quit.
Again, don’t view discipline as a hard task. Over time it gets easier, and you’ll notice a dramatic change in your productivity.
