Happy New Year! Yesss! 2022 is finally over and 2023 has officially arrived! I don’t know about you but for many people 2022 was a struggle. Many people experienced moments and seasons of depression, where it felt like giving up was the easier route. Good thing you didn’t, if that was you.
Now that it’s 2023, if you haven’t already, it’s time to lock in! Discover yourself all over again. Rewrite your goals and add new ones. Evaluate your circle. But most of all, do something different.
If the challenges of last year didn’t tell you anything else, it should have showed you that you’re a tough cookie. You have more strength inside of you than you imagined. You handled so many tasks and situations that many people would fold in. You may not have made it to where you wanted to be but you didn’t give up.
That is everything. Your pain has turned into muscle. Now it’s time to keep it going. Challenge yourself this year to do things you never saw yourself able to do. Whether it be a change in your diet or fasting, do it. Challenge your discipline. Think about it. You were forced to endure so many things that you didn’t want to. That’s skill.
If you can do it when you’re pushed into it you can do it when you push yourself into it as well. This year will not be perfect, but as long as you know that, you can prepare for it. In fact, that may be the biggest task of 2023–BE PREPARED.
You don’t know what’s coming your way, but understand that EVERYTHING coming your way, YOU CAN HANDLE IT! This year may be a little uncomfortable for you at times but know that you got this.
You’re winning this year and there’s nothing nobody can do about it!
