Last week, I was out of town visiting a very sick friend/bonus relative who asked my views on recent Milwaukee and national events.
Following are several recent topics that topped my list:
A special counsel’s investigation of President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents exonerated the prez but contained a scathing report on his mental faculties.
The book-length report went so far as to ‘claim’ Biden was a mentally fragile old man who confused names, and could not even remember the date of his late son’s death.
Naturally, the DNC’s (Democratic National Committee’s) inner circle, including the vice president, were quick to dismiss the DOJ report, calling it a partisan attempt to slander the oldest president in U.S. history.
The president’s wife, Dr. Jill, also lambasted the report. Interestingly, her response was a donation request for Biden’s re-election campaign.
What I found particularly interesting—aside from the classlessness of asking for money in that circumstance— is that while she didn’t deny Biden’s inability to recall the date of his son’s death, she noted, “Believe me, like anyone who has lost a child, Beau (the son), never leaves him.”
I agree, but I must add that such a life-altering tragedy is permanently etched in the soul of every parent I know, except for seniors in the advanced stages of dementia.
Since I haven’t reached that state yet, I vividly remember my son, Malik, died on March 17 in a car accident when he fell asleep at the wheel.
I received an unapologetic call from the police at 3:08 a.m. the following day, thinking that calls at that time generally meant bad news.
For the record, Biden’s attempt to convince voters that he’s not too old has fallen short. Over 80% of Americans believe he is, including 72% of Democrats.

Speaking of the presidential memory—or lack thereof– challenger Donald ‘Trumpster’ (rhymes with ‘dumpster’) isn’t just memorably challenged; he is mentally challenged to the extreme, as most bigots are.

The Milwaukee County Zoo staff ‘humanely’ killed Chalupa, the three-year-old giant octopus recently, because she was ‘old.’
What is humane about killing an entity because they are old? Then again, they do ‘humanely’ kill murderers, ‘egg yolks,’ and Cleopatra’s lovers who didn’t ‘perform.’ Humane is in the eye of the beholder.

Some don’t appreciate–or understand–my use of the term ‘Neckbone.’ For the record, it is not gender specific or linked to one ethnicity (what y’all incorrectly refer to as ‘race’).
Take, for example, the case of Kathy Koch, a Southside mother who was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for child abuse, neglect, and brutality.
The case came about when two of her sons escaped from their filthy Southside home and were found wandering the streets naked, save for being covered in ‘dodo’ (feces) and urine (pee).
The children were never potty trained, never allowed to attend school, and were made to sleep in conditions that defied human decency.
Koch said she ‘loved’ her children. That lunacy aside, she epitomizes my definition of a ‘Neckbone.’

The Community Journal will have a new neighborhood next year. The paper will have about 100 new neighbors after construction is completed on a new housing complex on King Drive, a block south of the paper’s offices.
The Five Point Lofts will have monthly rents between $474 and $1,200. The ground floor will host 7,500 square feet of retail space.

City officials are suggesting victims of lead laterals (lead poisoning) will end up paying for replacing sewer pipes when federal funds run out. What the Frick Frack!
Lead infestation has destroyed the lives of thousands of Black youth, and now they are being forced—along with the rest of us—to pay for their victimhood?
Instead of expanding the nonsensical streets car, investing in a downtown we are ‘told’ to leave before sundown, someone—anyone– down at city hall should stand up and say ‘hell no!’

The state superintendent of public instruction is asking lawmakers to delay one of the most beneficial and advantageous laws to close the reading gap in history.
The law, Act 20, was approved last summer. Are we to believe eight months is not long enough to save our children?
The Milwaukee Public School system hosts the lowest fourth and eighth-grade reading proficiency rates in the United States of America, Canada, Cuba, and the not-so-Virgin Islands.
‘Democan’ts’ and the Department of Public Instruction have ignored this life-altering crisis (which was first announced in 2010) because the teachers’ union has opposed any reforms—other than rhetoric, a word most Black children can’t spell or define.

Nikki Haley, the only Republican presidential candidate to question the insanity of Donald Trump, placed second in the Nevada GOP primary behind ‘none,’ a ballot slot for ‘we don’t like any of the candidates.’
You could surmise Haley’s vote was a referendum on Republicans, or maybe it implied 62% favor Mickey Mouse over the nominees. Then again, that’s assuming they don’t believe Micky is -bi-racial.’

A young brother was murdered near America’s Black Holocaust Museum on Monday. In an ironic and disingenuous sense, the site was eerily appropriate given that the new Black holocaust is being caused by us, against us.
